Dusit Inya Lake Hotel
Located in downtown Yangon, the capital island virgin. Stay on 38 acres of gardens on the northeast coast of Inya Lake. Lies between the airport and Mingaladon shopping center (about 10 minutes drive outside of rush hour).

The building was originally built as a gift from the Soviet Union in 1961. Thus, although it can be called a historic hotel, the exterior appearance is that of a modern, large and unattractive. The hotel was completely renovated in 1996. The lobby is spacious, with a reception desk to the left of the entrance to the shopping area with access to the bar overlooking the lake. The floor is of polished wood and the decor is sober and reflects the location. There is much room to check in group. There an outdoor pool, two tennis courts, jogging tracks, lakeside fitness center with exercise equipment to the top of the range, a soothing sauna, Turkish bath, shopping area facilities for conferences, seminars and banquets.
