The Novotel Valladolid in the coming months will have two new employees who will not charge for their work or holidays or weekly rest claim.

Saccharin and Bellbott , as they are called, are two friendly robots that serve customers with sympathy, receive upon arrival and accompany them to their rooms as good buttons.

These lovely humanoid assistants and social skills, created by the technology center Cartif Valladolid and University of Vigo , will be put in office at the hotel in the city of Castile and Leon.

The services are trained to do, is to accompany guests to their rooms, carrying hand luggage and even to the extent permitted autonomy of its batteries, take room service.

Equipped with a head mechatronics with expression Bellbott and saccharin are two very special prototypes born of effort, working together and work more than two years of design.

Stage of testing and learning begins now so they can respond to requests to bring a snack in the room, a drink, newspaper or any product from room service in a similar way as you would if you called reception.

Customers can call for any product from the rooms, dinner or a product such as grooming forgotten, and can be controlled through a web of receipt.

For now, the only weak point Bellbott and saccharin are the stairs but can move between the various components of the building, avoiding obstacles and using elevators to return then to the battery charging spots.
