Why use a reverse telephone directory? Some may call it an invasion of privacy, and others may call it a savior of lives. Because it can be used to look up information about a person and where they live, it is both a boon and a burden. The option of unlisting one’s number is present, although many people have likely not utilized this option; it can be difficult to discover how to unlist one’s number. Whether reverse phone lookup becomes an issue in the future remains to be seen, although personally, I predict that the world will not hear about it for a long while.
